Turnberry Change Makers modernize data infrastructure for BeLoved ATL
This project was brought to life through the Turnberry Change Makers, an employee-run, Turnberry-funded program that empowers employees to take hands-on action in creating positive change in local communities. Turnberry Solutions partnered with Apparo to evaluate and modernize the data infrastructure of BeLoved ATL, an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) that has supported women since 2012. The engagement focused on creating a scalable and efficient system tailored to the organization’s mission.
Client challenge
BeLoved ATL’s existing software was no longer meeting the organization’s needs. Staff relied heavily on Google Sheets and Excel for reporting, creating operational risk and increasing the chance of data loss. The system lacked administrative controls and structured documentation, limiting the organization’s ability to scale programs and manage volunteers effectively.
Our solution
Turnberry Solutions conducted a technical evaluation to identify requirements, analyze gaps, and assess potential software vendors. This process provided a clear understanding of the organization’s needs and resulted in a data-driven recommendation for a solution that would consolidate manual processes, enhance reporting, and support future growth.
Results
The engagement produced a roadmap for BeLoved ATL to transition from a fragmented, manual data environment to a unified system. The new approach reduces duplicated work and the risk of data loss, offers real-time dashboards and automated reporting, and ensures compliance deadlines are met through automated alerts. The solution positions the organization for continued growth while enabling staff to operate more efficiently.
